Mr Hampton holds a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) from the University of Tasmania, he is a Fellow of CPA Australia, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries.
Miles Hampton has extensive experience in the Tasmanian water industry having previously held the position of Chairman of Hobart Water from 2005 -2009. From November 2008, he was a Common Director of the Tasmanian Water and Sewerage Corporations. He was Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee(s) of the Tasmanian Water and Sewerage Corporation(s) in the period November 2008 to December 2010.
Mr Hampton was Managing Director of the ASX listed agribusiness Roberts Limited for more than 20 years, and prior to that was Chief Financial Officer of the company.
Mr Hampton is currently a Director of MyState Limited, Australian Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd, Forestry Tasmania, The Van Diemen’s Land Company and Tasman Farms Limited.
Mr Hampton is also Chairman of the UTAS Foundation.
